This white tea from China (Fujian province) comes from young shoots of the tea plant. This tea is picked only in the spring and in limited quantities. You will be amazed by its smooth and refined taste. Its freshness and floral perfumes make this an exceptional tea. In this tea, the polyphenome content is much higher than in other teas. White tea known as Pai Mu Tan or White Peony, famous for its delicate floral aroma. Preparation:
- 1 teaspoon of loose tea ~ 2g
- Pour over 80 ~ 85°C water
- Let it steep for 3 minutes
Use this white tea to make kombucha ? Yes it is possible. This white tea is a delicate tea and produces a very mild sour tasting kombucha. If you are brewing white tea, you normally only let the tea steep for a few minutes, but now you have to make sure that you let the tea steep for at least 10 minutes.
