Green tea - Sencha China
Sencha China is a bright sparkling green tea. For Sencha only the youngest leaves are used. This gives Sencha tea the characteristic refined Japanese flavour; Pleasant light, soft and rich in vitamin C.
Preparation:
- 1 full teaspoon tea
- pour water of 70 °C onto the tea
- let the tea infuse for 2 minutes
Choose Tea to make Kombucha
The brewing of kombucha requires real tea (such as this green tea) for both minerals and nitrogen. The type of tea used to brew kombucha can affect the health of the Scoby, as well as the taste of your final brew. When you are just starting out, we find that regular green tea works best for making kombucha.
