They all contain probiotic bacteria and all will breed on different milks with proper care. So how do you know which starter culture to choose for your homemade yogurt batch? While yogurt starter cultures can vary in taste and consistency, the one you select ultimately depends on your personal preference.     Stirred yogurt ferment, to make yogurt at home

    For the preparation of stir yogurt.

    2 sachets of yogurt ferment of 6 grams each.

    With the double dose sachets you can make 8 jars of 125ml yogurt.

    The two beneficial bacteria in yogurt are Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus. Both work in symbiosis for the transformation of milk into yogurt at a temperature of +/- 40°C.
