Kefir Starter Culture
This mild kefir culture, called "Kefir Ferment" has been obtained from kefir grains. Kefir is a fermented beverage made with milk. Compared with yogurt, kefir has a delicate flavor. Make kefir with this powdered starter culture, no kefir grains to maintain.

Ingredients: Lactococcus lactis subsp.lactis, Lactococcus lactis subsp.cremoris,Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. cremoris, kefir fungus, identified according to the IDF standards. This product does not contain genetically modified ingredients.
Features: Suitable for adults and children older than 1 year. Keep the kefir starter in the refrigerator. Shelf life up to 12 months.
Instruction for making Kefir
Boil 1 liter of milk. Cool down the milk at 30 - 32°C. Add 1 g of dry kefir culture in 1 liter of milk and mix thoroughly. The resulting mixture is poured into a flask and leave for about 12 -16 hours by still keeping the temperature (use a thermos or a yogurt maker). Readiness of the product is determined if the dairy milk thickened and has a sour taste. The finished product can be mixed. Pour into a storage container.
